해외여행 중 한번쯤 들르는 마트

우리에게 꼭 필요한 것

라면이죠? 

 

유럽에서도 아시안식품 코너를 어디서나 찾을 수 있는데요.

일본의 초밥 제품과 한국의 라면은 요즘 많이 볼 수 있어서 마트에서 쉽게 구할 수 있답니다.

 

파리에서는 초밥 도시락 참 많이 먹었던 것 같아요.

파리는 맛이 괜찮은데 영국 마트에서 샀던 건 정말 맛이 없었던 기억이 있네요.

 

각설하고, 우리의 목표는 라면!

 

오늘은 라면을 사러 마트에 간 상황의 대화문을 연습해볼게요!

제가 가장 처음 해외 마트에서 물건을 찾을 때 질문했던 그 대화입니다.

라면을 찾고 있어요 어디에 있어요? 그건 인터네셔널 섹션 옆 5번 구역에서 찾을 수 있어요. 쌀과 파스타 지나서요

Customer: Excuse me, I'm looking for ramen. Could you tell me where I can find it?

Store Employee: Of course! The ramen is in aisle 5, right next to the international foods section. You'll find a variety of flavors and brands there.

Customer: Great, thank you! Is it towards the front or the back of the aisle?

Store Employee: It's towards the back, just past the pasta and rice. You can't miss it.

Customer: Perfect, thanks for your help!

 

고기를 살 때는 정육코너가 있어요.

한국처럼 필요한 만큼 주문해서 무게 달아 구매하실 수 있고, 원하는 크기로 썰어주기도 합니다.

저는 불고기를 하기 위해서 얇게 슬라이스된 소고기를 구매했는데,

그렇게 요청하는 방법도 알려드릴게요.

 

Customer: Hi! I'm looking for thinly sliced beef. Do you have that available?

Butcher: Hello! Absolutely, we can do that for you. How much are you looking to get?

Customer: I'll need about half a pound of thinly sliced beef, please.

Butcher: Sure thing. Any particular type of beef you're looking for? We have sirloin, ribeye, and flank available.

Customer: I think sirloin would be great. Can you trim off the excess fat, please?

Butcher: Of course, sirloin it is, and I'll make sure it's lean. Anything else?

Customer: That should be it. Thank you!

Butcher: You're welcome! I'll get that sliced for you right away. Anything else you need, just let me know.
